Learning objectives: After completion of the course you will be able to:

  • recognise the anatomy relevant for carpal tunnel syndrome
  • establish or exclude diagnosis of CTS based on clinical symptoms and examination
  • understand changes in electrophysiologic examinations connected to CTS
  • examine patients with suspected CTS with ultrasound
  • differentiate normal from pathological ultrasound findings
  • diagnose CTS with ultrasound according to the state of the art
